Got you with that title, huh?
I’m not referencing the absence of God – God is never absent. I’m talking about the war on Christianity we’re currently facing in America.
I was watching the news this morning, and saw another story about a football coach who was suspended for praying after every game. Seriously?
I’m going to keep this brief, as this was an impromptu post, but I’m serious in my sadness regarding the intolerance of Christianity. When did we as a nation, a nation that was founded on Judeo-Christian values, turn our backs on God? In the words of Perry Stone, “America, aside from Israel, is God’s chosen nation.” God has blessed the USA with wealth, prosperity, and freedom. I do not find it coincidental that since the surge of anti-Christian rallies and rules, our rank as the number one country is slipping.
We are so focused on accommodating every walk of life, every train of thought, every change or difference of opinion – except for Christianity. Our public schools are having Muslim prayer time and the students are bringing their own prayer mats to class, yet there’s no mention of Christ. High schools across the country are implementing satanist courses, but if you make the sign of the cross, you can face expulsion!
I could say I do not understand what is happening, but that is a lie. I know exactly what is going on. The Devil is trying to take foothold because he knows his time is coming to an end. Satan and all his minions are panicking at the thought of Jesus’ return, and boy is he doing his job of manipulating America.
Be steadfast in your faith. Do not conform to the mindset that by eliminating Christianity, we are being inclusive and sensitive to others and their beliefs. That’s the biggest, most obvious lie Satan seems to be using… and we, as a nation, are believing it and following suit!
I believe we are standing in the last days. That could mean one year, or one hundred years – no one knows. But what I do know is that I will not allow a tarnished “politically correct” mindset to dictate how I live my life, nor will it change my faith in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
